Grace Foundation
The Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Foundation is incorporated in the state of Oregon as a nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Sections 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Its specific purpose is to engage in and conduct religious, charitable and educational activities related to Grace Memorial. The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively to support or benefit Grace Memorial.
The Foundation receives gifts from members and other benefactors. These funds have been invested under the guidance of Portfolio 21 and more recently with Trillium Asset Management in socially responsible companies and organizations with a strong commitment to sound environmental, responsible workplace and corporate governance practices. The Board of Trustees for the Foundation is composed of Church members serving three year terms. Trustees are responsible for selecting a portfolio management company, monitoring performance, accepting gifts and distributing earnings to Grace Institute and the Church in response to specific proposals for funding.
Gifts and/or bequests to the Foundation are a wonderful way to support your life in the Church and to insure your involvement lives on.
