The Art of Jeffrey T. Baker in the Stairwell Gallery
January 16, 2010 by Stephen Schneider
This Sunday, January 17, at 11:45 am Jefftrey T. Baker will give a gallery talk on his art which is currently on view in the Grace Stairwell Gallery.

He describes his art in the following way:
"Each of these works follows a long process of generation. They begin as small photographic images, captured with toy cameras, hand made pinhole cameras, or salvaged from backwater antique shops. The photograph is enlarged and transfered to heavy paper or wooden panels with acrylic mediums. Details and contrast are diminished through the transfer process and must be redrawn, sometimes to the point of utter fabrication, until the image is slowly reborn."
