Bill Crane Concert
Grace-Memorial hosts Bill Crane's kick-off concert in a series of seven concerts from February 25th - March 2nd
On February 25th at 6pm, Bill Crane will be giving a piano recital with actress Gretchen Corbett.
The program includes:
- Francois Couperin, "Les barricades misterieuses" (from the 6eme Ordre)
- Franz Schubert, Impromptu in G-flat Major, Opus 90, No. 3
- Johannes Brahms, Variations and Fugue on a Theme of Handel (Variations for adear friend)
- Francis Poulenc, Babar the Elephant, with Gretchen Corbett, narrator
- Sergei Rachmaninoff, Prelude in B-flat Major
The concert will be one hour without intermission and will start promptly at 6pm.
It is free and all are welcome!
This is the kick-off performace in a series of seven performances for his 60's birthday.

- Program 2 -- Organ recital, Sunday, February 26, "My young life hath an end," at First Presbyterian Church, SW 12th and Alder.
- Program 3 -- Vocal recital, Cantor Ida Rae Cahana, soprano, Monday, February 27,location TBD, but probably at Wieden + Kennedy, NW 13th and Everett
- Program 4 -- Chamber music program, with Greg Ewer, violin, and Justin Kagan,cello, Tuesday, February 28, location TBD
- Program 5 -- "La bouboisie dans la ville des roses," a crazy music program withextras. With Daniel Kirk and Eric Skinner, dancers, Sage Ricci, artist, two hula-hoopexperts, and three percussionists, Wednesday, February 29, at Body Vox, NW 17thand Northrup
- Program 6 -- Vocal recital, Lisa Mooyman, soprano, and David Hattner, clarinet,location TBD, but probably Community Music Center, Thursday, March 1
- Program 7 -- Organ recital, with Abby Mages, flute, Friday, March 2, at TrinityEpiscopal Cathedral, NW 19th and Everett
